FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): There’s talk of making some improvements to the IPFW campus.

Purdue University officials are pitching $17 million worth of renovations in its annual funding request to the state legislature, according to the Journal Gazette.

That’s to keep up with work on the campus’ Liberal Arts building, as well as Kettler and Neff Halls. Kettler is the oldest, having been built in the 1960s, and university officials want to renovate classrooms and improve the furniture and wi-fi.

Campus officials say some of the money will also go toward upgrading the HVAC and water systems, if the request gets the green light.
