FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): If you’re looking for a job, IPFW will be the place to be later this month.
The largest career fair in northeast Indiana returns noon to 3 p.m. on Sept. 20 at the Athletics Center Fieldhouse on the campus in Fort Wayne. More than 2,000 open positions will be available, including part-time, full-time and internship opportunities, from more than 150 employers.
Dean of Students Eric Norman says the fair provides a “critical experience” for students to learn more about employers and potential careers.
Attendees can get a free professional head shot for their LinkedIn profile at the fair, as well as download a special “IPFW Career Fair Plus” app starting on September 13th to prepare, with a full list of employers, company overviews, and an interactive floor plan.
It’s free and open to IPFW students, alumni, and community members. Attending students get lunch and a free gift.
