Fort Wayne shooting victim is in stable condition, police tased the suspect

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One man was shot and one of the men suspected of shooting him was tased early Thursday morning in Fort Wayne.

The victim is in good condition, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.

At about 3:45 a.m., police responded to a call of a shooting in the 1600 block of St. Mary’s Ave. in Fort Wayne, according to Fort Wayne police reports.

Brandon Gibson was taken into custody after police said he was driving a red SUV that was at the scene. Police said he had to be tased since he was being verbally aggressive and refused to listen to officers.

Police also say they found a handgun in the SUV and took it.
