WARSAW, Ind.(WOWO): A merger between Warsaw-based orthopedic companies, Zimmer and Biomet has met final regulatory approvals.
The deal is worth $14 billion dollars, the company will be called Zimmer Biomet.
The merger, first announced last year,was called historical. The companies make up one-third of the $40 billion dollar orthopedic market.
The company will focus on knee, hip, surgical, spine and trauma devices.
