“The Pat Miller Program” continues WOWO’s tradition of compelling, locally produced talk radio. Pat’s program focuses on topics of local and national importance, giving listeners across northeast Indiana the chance to sound off on what matters most to them. “Anyone who has followed Pat’s amazing progress as a talk show host since he started at WOWO 11 years ago knows the kind of passion and knowledge Pat brings” says WOWO Operations Manager Dan Mandis. “Listeners enjoy topics ripped from the days headlines, from Washington DC to Allen County, if it affects our lives here in the Hoosier State Pat has something to say about it. Federated Media General Manager, Mark DePrez also has high praise for Miller: “Pat Miller is the total package. Not only is he comfortable behind the microphone but in front of the public. He is in constant demand as a master of ceremonies or key note speaker. As a result we intend to take his program to the people as often as possible. His style is most compatib...

Kayla Blakeslee

I am a recent graduate of Penn State University. Majoring in Journalism and Mass Communications, I enjoyed anchoring and reporting for The University's student-produced "Centre County Report" and The Big Ten Netoworks, "We Are The Millennials." After graduation, I joined Federated Media, anchoring news for WOWO News Talk 1190 WOWO and reporting for our sister station 95.3 MNC. I love the daily excitement of news reporting, and hopefully, making a difference with my audience.

Jon Zimney-News Reporter

Next year will mark Jon’s 25th year in radio… nearly all of it, spent in the world of News/Talk and in and around radio newsrooms. Some of Jon’s most memorable news moments at WOWO include live reports during Fort Wayne’s Morning News in the midst of the monster blizzard of 2007, reporting in front of the home of Simon Rios on the morning of the unforgettable murders and the shock-and-awe of the Rally For America in 2003, when WOWO’s Glenn Beck hosted 20,000 patriotic fans in Auburn as America waged war on Iraq. During his time away from WOWO, Jon earned a national Edward R. Murrow award for continuing coverage of illegal immigration in Phoenix, Arizona and led coverage of John McCain’s concession speech after losing the Presidential election to Barack Obama. Now back in Indiana, Jon is estatic to report, once again, for 1190 WOWO.

Carl Stutsman-News Reporter

Carl was born and raised in Elkhart. He is a graduate of Concord High School. A true-blue Hoosier, he decided to stay in Indiana for college. He attended Valparaiso University and is finishing his higher education at IUSB while covering some of the biggest stories in Indiana. During his time on-air, Carl has led live storm coverage, reported on extensive damage in the aftermath of the storms, helped lead coverage of the effort to ban “K2” sales from area convenience stores, and was front-and-center when Marlin Stutzman announced his intent for the seat vacated by former House Representative Mark Souder. Some of his favorite moments are reporting live, in-the-field, whether it’s from the county fair, a local protest on illegal immigration or in front of a home or business damaged by a storm. Carl says the best part of his job is meeting people, learning their stories, and bringing them to life, on-air.

Annette Weston-News Reporter

Annette is a journalist with a 20 year track record in radio news – with dozens of awards to show for it. She was born and raised in southwest Michigan, and is currently raising four teenagers – and anxiously awaiting the return of her sanity. Check out her Facebook page and you’ll find her to be witty, funny….sometimes a little naughty. On the list of her favorite interviews over the years – William “The Refrigerator” Perry, because he was so sweet, warm, and caring for a “big football dude,” as she puts it. Also, Stevie Nicks, because Annette is a big Fleetwood Mac fan, although she says most of the actual interview with Nicks was less than coherent. Tornadoes, blizzards, accidents, fires…bring ‘em on. And if you have a heart-warming or a tear-jerking story to tell, Annette wants to hear from you, too!
