FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The race to replace outgoing State Senator Tom Wyss in District 15 is setting up to be a costly one.
Numbers released today by Liz Brown’s campaign show her with a war chest that totaling more than $42,700. Her campaign says that shows her support in the community and demonstrates strong momentum.

Brown raised $42,700.60 and had $28,660.00 cash on hand. Funds came from 24 individuals, one corporation and one political action committee ($12,000 from the Northeast Indiana PAC). Her first check was received on Nov. 27, 2013.
Ken Fries raised $18.532.40 and had $18,452.52 cash on hand. He raised those funds from nine individuals, two corporations and two political action committees. His first check was received on Dec. 1, 2013. Almost a third of his contributions came from one individual.
Darren Vogt raised $25,681.93 and had $16,223.07 cash on hand. He raised those funds from 30 individuals, 3 corporations and 2 political action committees. His first check was received on Oct. 7, 2013.
Jeff Snyder raised a total of $12,650 and had $10,936.42 cash on hand. He raised those funds from seven individuals and one corporation. His first check was received on Nov. 27, 2013. Excepting his own donation of $8,000, none of his donors are from Senate District 15 or Fort Wayne.
Campaign money for democrat candidate, attorney Jack Morris, were not released. The Primary is scheduled for May 6.
