INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ A southwestern Indiana police chief says two men are being held in connection with the death of a 19-year-old woman who vanished last week after posting on Facebook that she thought she was being followed.
Linton Police Chief Troy Jerrell said that a body found Monday evening in a rural area is believed to be that of Katelyn Wolfe, who was reported missing last Thursday.
He says preliminary autopsy findings might be released Tuesday evening following an autopsy on that body.
Jerrell says 26-year-old Jordan Wayne Buskirk and 25-year-old Randal Edward Crosley are being held as persons of interest in the disappearance of Wolfe from the city about 30 miles south of Terre Haute. He says the Jasonville men are being held without bond on preliminary murder charges.
