WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP): Purdue University scientists are seeking the infant siblings of children with autism for a new study of the disorder. The researchers are enrolling infants between six and 18 months of age who have an autistic sibling in Purdue's current study. Lead researcher A.J. Schwichtenberg says up to 40 percent of the younger siblings of autistic children develop autism.
