KOSCIUSKO COUNTY (WOWO): A tip during a recent drug arrest leads police to a convenience store selling look-a-like drugs.

Last week, Kosciusko County police received complaints of Katie’s Kwik Mart in Leesburg selling a substance known as “iBLOWN” which has tested positive as an illegal synthetic drug.

Police served search warrants at the convenience store and at a Leesburg residence and recovered 278 packets of what is believed to be synthetic drugs.

On Thursday, February 13, 2014, Warsaw Police arrested 23-year-old Baljinder Singh and 29-year-old Pinka Singh both of Leesburg, for dealing in a look-a-like substance and corrupt business influence, both class C felonies.

Both men were clerks at Katie’s Kwik Mart and both men are being held on a $2,000 bond.

Warsaw Police also arrested the owner of the convenience store, 39-year-old Surjit Singh, of Elkhart, on Friday, February 14. He was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail for dealing in a look-a-like substance and corrupt business influence and is being held at the Kosciusko County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
