BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) _ Protesters on Indiana University's main campus in Bloomington are urging students to leave classes and join a march.
The Herald-Times reports the group of about 200 protesters began a march about noon Thursday as police followed the crowd and in one case blocked the group from entering one building.
Protesters already had walked throughout Ballantine Hall, a large academic building, and entered classrooms. One woman yelled to students, ``Get out of the class and into the street, join the strike.''
Protest organizers called for a general strike on campus Thursday and Friday to demand tuition cuts, fee eliminations, more African-American enrollment, and a halt to privatization of parking on the Bloomington and Indianapolis campuses.

Dozens of protesters last week stormed into the office of Bloomington Provost Lauren Robel.
