The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a winter weather advisory for snow and freezing rain. The advisory will be in effect from 8:00p.m., until noon tomorrow.

Along with that, be prepared for icy roadways in the morning. The folks with the Indiana Department of Transportation say salt trucks will be out in force in an effort to prevent snow and ice from accumulating on lanes, and to melt any ice that may form.
