UPDATE: Escaped DeKalb County Prisoner Found
A woman who escaped the custody of the DeKalb County Sheriff's Department has been captured in Fort Wayne.
Acting on a tip, 21-year old Shelby Riedel was found in Fort Wayne Wednesday night, that's according to our news partner 21 Alive.
The woman slipped out of her handcuffs and fled Wednesday afternoon while being escorted with other inmates back to DeKalb County Jail, according to the sheriff's department.
It's believed she was picked and taken to a Fort Wayne motel, but authorities did say where she was taken into custody.
