A Warsaw man was airlifted in critical condition after jumping from a moving vehicle south of Nappanee.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department got the call around 5:40 this morning. Upon arrival, 21-year-old Jerry Belcher was unconscious and suffering from extensive head injuries.

Deputies were advised that Belcher had been a passenger in a Dodge Ram truck driven by his father.  As they were traveling to work, both men had entered into a verbal argument that became steadily intense.

Belcher is listed in critical condition, and the event is still under investigation.
