The YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne receives two significant grants…

The grants are for the purpose of building a new Y in Wells County.  English, Bonter, Mitchell Foundation approved a donation of $75,000, while the Edward and Mary McCrea Wilson Foundation pledged $50,000. 

The new Y facility will be built on 30 acres of land donated by the James S. Jackson family. It will include a family-friendly aquatic center with zero-depth entry, a slide and sauna; gymnasium; large wellness center; aerobics and cycling rooms; full-day child care (infants through school age) and Child Watch while parents work out; game room; multi-purpose areas and lounge; and complete locker room facilities including family changing rooms.
