Victim Identified in Barbershop Shooting
Yesterday, just before 4:00 p.m. shots rang out in a barbershop inside the Pontiac Mall. Kenton Beckman, age 44, of Fort Wayne, was shot several times. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, where he was shortly after pronounced dead.
Beckman is the 26th homicide victim for Fort Wayne and Allen County this year.
As of right now, the incident is still under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, The Allen County Coroner’s Office, and the Allen Prosecutor’s Office.
