U.S. Navy's Hovercraft Fleet to be Powered by Indianapolis Based Rolls-Royce Engines
The company made the announcement yesterday. They've been tapped to build a new gas turbine engine that can transport equipment and people from ship to shore. They would not say how much the contract is worth, however, added that no jobs will be added in Indianapolis. It will provide job security for the current 46 hundred workers.
